Select on the tab below to see how each type of SSL is implemented on your browser.
Domain SSL on Firefox

When using Firefox, when your customers access your site with Domain SSL, the domain name and your site icon will be shown  - see image below
When you click on the security icon, you will see the image below - only your domain is available - your company name is not shown
When the user click on the icon, you will see the "UNKNOWN"  as shown above as Domain SSL doews not include your comapny name on the certificate.
Domain SSL on Internet Explorer

When using Domain SSL, the secure site is seen on the browser as shown below;
Organization SSL on all browsers

When using Organization SSL, the secure site is seen on the browser exactly the same way as the Domain SSL..
The difference is when the customer clicks on the security icon and check the details of the certificate. The organization name is shown on the certificate.
Move your mouse over each web browser logo to see how each browser displays EV Certificates differently from standard SSL:
Extended SSL on all browsers

See how browsers show EV SSL Certificates differently from standard SSL.
Utilizing Extended Validation SSL Certificates offers a unique opportunity to differentiate your business from the competition. If the URL displays a green address bar next to your company name and the worldwide trusted GlobalSign security brand and this event does not happen on your competitor's website, this will deliver a significant competitive advantage in the world of e-commerce.
Globalsign SSL provides the same level of encryption security for all types of certificates. The difference is on how the SSL certificate is verified immediately by the user. The Extended SSL provides highest level of trust to customers as the organization name is shown on the browser. The Domain SSL only shows the domain name on the browser while the Organization SSL shows the domain name on the browser and the organization name on the certificate.
