In receive mode, the gateway gets fax messages from conventional fax devices and converts these messages to MIME coded Email messages.
Use of templates
The individual fax profiles use predefined fax templates. The templates are text files within formatted text elements. Specific fields (e.g. originator address) can be integrated by variables into the fax document.
Support for analogue Modems and ISDN boards
The gateway support Standard Class 2 analogue modems and ISDN boards to transmit fax messages. If you use a ISDN board, you need to consider that this board supports the T.30 protocol.
