Overview of Advanced Firewall
Smoothwall Advanced Firewall is our Unified Threat Management system for enterprise networks running on hardened secure Linux platform (Debian) . Combining the functions of perimeter and internal firewalls, Advanced Firewall provides flexible user authentication for policy based access control to local network zones and Internet services. Secure wireless, secure remote access and site-to-site IPSec connectivity are provided by the integrated VPN gateway.

Web Content Filtering for Smoothwall Advance Firewall
We have two optional modules to provide Web Content Filtering for Smoothwall Advance Firewall - The Guardian Web Security and Guardian Web Filtering . The only difference between the two modules is the antivirus filtering, Web Security includes the Vipre Anti-malware engine not availabe in the Web Filtering module.
Both these modules can be integrated into Smoothwall to provide the following extra features:

file-upload, P2P sharing, video and Flash files
• Accurate granular reporting with detailed logging, live traffic graphs and trend analysis
