Norman Firebreak for Novell Netware |
|
Overview

FireBreak is
Norman’s server-based antivirus program for
Novell’s NetWare operating system. It
ensures that all files stored or accessed
from the NetWare server are checked for
computer viruses, trojans, and other
malicious code - or malware as a collective
term. It is invisible to the users and is
designed to work with NetWare in a way that
takes advantage of both products’ top-notch
qualities.
More than 90 million users around the world
consider Novell NetWare to be the technology
leader in networking. Novell NetWare file
servers are used for storage of data, which
needs to be accessed and stored without
causing trouble for the users. Its open
architecture supports mixed environments
that welcome Linux*, Mac*, or even Windows*.
Novell iFolder and iPrint provide secure
access to network services from any
connected device. To protect this
environment against malware in the best
possible way, and without burden servers
that affect the performance, we recommend
Norman FireBreak for Novell NetWare as the
virus protection solution.
