Executable lockdown prohibits the installation of all unauthorized executable files,

regardless of whether they are downloaded from the Internet or introduced via any

other media source.

Its’ small kernel mode driver, filters all executable files; regardless of its file extension (.exe .com .sys .dpl etc...).

Executable Lockdown installs in under 1 minute; and does not require any lengthy

initial scanning time to create its unique "White List" of existing applications. By

default all applications and executables that are already installed on the PC are added

to Executable Lockdown's allowed list of applications (White-List). Any new executable

that is launched or introduced via any media (physical or removable drives, network

shares, USB drives, Internet ftp etc.) will be prevented from running. Once installed, a

system tray icon is setup which allows for the configuration to be easily modified.

All newly introduced executables, will not launch unless you, the administrator, permit

the file to launch or until it is listed within your administrative "Allowed" executables

whitelist.
